SHV Educational Book Scheme

For every cylinder sold, and amount is reserved for buying books for local primary schools. To date almost 200 schools across Pakistan have been provided with books.
In the wake of the horrific earthquake in October 2005, SHV Energy Pakistan immediately supplied LPG, tents, blankets, food and stoves to employees who were immediately affected by the disaster and to various aid agencies and Super Gas distributors. Many donations were received from SHV sister companies and SHV Energy Pakistan was able to provide medical equipment, and food supplies to many organizations, including a basic necessities for orphanages - toys. Many children requested textbooks so they could continue with their education. Long term assistance will take place in the form of reconstruction aid, focusing on the rebuilding of schools.
